HOUSING
Renting
There are many areas to choose from depending on your lifestyle choices. There are many large apartments available around the center, there are the highly sought after homes with gardens in the hills just East of the Po River in what the Italians call the precollina. Others choose to go farther out to Moncalieri, Pecetto and even Chieri. The further away you look, the larger the homes become and the lower the cost. Finding a home is a fine balance between lifestyle, work needs and school needs.
There are many relocation companies that have the best over view of what's available in the housing market. You can always search yourself, but it's a good idea to take advantage of the Italian way of getting the best information through networking. If you are not happy with the results of a relocation company that's been appointed by your company, you can always contact another one yourself. The internet has some properties but usually ones that have been on the market for a while.
