The IWCT is an English-speaking club with over 250 members from nearly 40 different countries. The purpose of this self-governing non-profit organization is to promote friendship and professional networking between its members and the Italian community. One of our core activities is to raise funds for a local charity which is chosen biannually by the members.

As a member you can participate in all club activities, download our Monthly Bulletin as well as secure access to our website. One of the main objectives of the Club is to give back to the City that we live in. This year IO STO CON IL REGINA MARGHERITA was chosen again as the charity we support. We have two main fundraisers, Christmas Bazaar and Spring Charity event. We also assemble Easter Baskets and donate them to children at the hospital and distribute presents on Christmas Day. We donated 14 sleepers for mothers at the hospital last year and have already raised over 8,000 € this year.
10 percent of the money IWCT raises for charity is donated to FAWCO - The Federation of American Women's Clubs Overseas. Last year we chose the specific Water Project with their various possibilities. Our members and their families may apply for FAWCO scholarships and education grants. Visit the FAWCO site for details.

Free Cooking Lessons at ABC in Cucina

I would recommend taking a look at a new bookstore in the centre of the city. It has just changed hands and the atmosphere is very nice, a lovely childrens area on the first floor and a very warm welcome, coffee and free wifi on offer by the new owner. I would like to thank the over 100 IWCT members and friends who came to our Spring Charity Event at Circolo Eridano today! Great success thanks to Fabrizio Picardi's wonderful couture collection modelled by our members, make up and hair by Josephine, and delicious buffet lunch.
